About us
At The Craft Barn our highly experienced team are committed to helping you get the most from your crafting by sourcing new and exciting products for you to try. We run regular classes to help people build their confidence and skills and our blog has lots of samples and ideas to inspire you. You will know many of our tutors from their contributions to a variety of magazines.
Whether you craft as a hobby or for a living we have everything you need to achieve great results with our wide selection of products, including some which are exclusive to us in the UK. Our range also includes our own brand Kadoodle stamps.
The Craft Barn has been in existence for around 17 years and has been owned by Sandy and Ian Weller since January 2008. The shop is based in an old barn built in the 16th Century and has lots of character. The small entrance hides a much larger interior and it is often described as a tardis!

FROM THE M25
The Craft Barn is situated in the heart of Lingfield village, aprox 10 mins from J6 of the M25. From M25 J6, follow the signs for the A22 towards Eastbourne and East Grinstead. At the traffic lights at Blindley Heath follow the signs to Lingfield, this will be a Left turn into Ray Lane.
Follow this road all the way into the village. At the first mini roundabout turn left into Plaistow Road as you turn into Plaistow road you will see The Old Cage pub on your left.
For the car park take the first right into Gunpit Road, the car park is a short distance up on your left, parking is free for the first 3 hours with a maximum stay of 6 hours (you must get a ticket even if you don't plan to stay longer than 3 hours), otherwise there is free parkling in the various side roads around the village. If you are coming by car, please respect the residents who live in the villlage and park considerately.
For The Craft Barn itself stay on Plaistow Road to the mini roundabout then turn right and the Craft Barn is about 15m on your left set back from the road - look out for the black iron railings and ornamental fishpond!
FROM THE A22 SOUTH OF LINGFIELD
Coming from the South on the A22, turn right at The Mormon Temple roundabout (Church of The Latter Day Saints) then stay on that road until you come to a mini roundabout, take the second exit into Plaistow Road you will see the The Old Cage pub on the left

BY TRAIN
You can also reach us by train. Lingfield is the nearest British Rail station and is on the Victoria to East Grinstead line. We are aprox a 15-20 min walk from the station, there are taxis available if you want to save your strength!
